Article 1:  General

This Privacy Policy applies to the use of the website, its services and applications, hereinafter referred to as "the site" or "the publisher" or “we”, by any natural or legal person wishing to access and to use the site, hereinafter referred to as "the user" or “you”.

This Privacy Policy is part of, and is governed by our general Terms of Service, which user must carefully read and agree before the use of our services and application.

You may share personal information when using the website, that we may collect, use, or disclose. Other users may also have access to your personal information that you may share when using services such as broadcasting or chatting activities. We encourage you to be mindful of this when using website.

Any user must accept this Privacy Policy, and his access and his use to the site constitutes acceptance of these conditions. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18 (or between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction of residence), you must have been authorized by one of your parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, then you must not access or use the website, services and applications.

Article 2:  Personal Information collected through the site

When user access or use our services and applications, we may generally collect the personal information described below:

  • Registration process: you may provide a variety of information about yourself to us, such as your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, credit card number, and billing information when you register to Jiffeo services and applications.
  • Cookies: when you access the Jiffeo Services or open one of our communications, we may automatically record and store certain information about your system by using cookies and other types of technologies.
  • User shared information: it includes all information, photo, voice, video or other material that user display and share them with others in/through our services and applications. These information are under your complete control and you choose whether you post, display or remove them.
  • IP address and Location Information: your IP address or GPS information may be collected by us when using Product to provide more specified feature or services. You could close such collection to stop Product collecting your IP address or GPS information with acknowledge that some feature or service may not be available for such closure.
  • You may be able to limit the amount of information collected from your device (e.g., computer, phone, or tablet) with us by adjusting your device or browser settings. However, by preventing us from collecting information from you, we may not be able to provide some functions on our Services.

Article 3: How Jiffeo uses collected information

Jiffeo uses personal information to operate, maintain, enhance, provide, create, and develop all of the features, functionality, and services (new or existing) found on our site. We use your email address to communicate with you, including to notify you of major Jiffeo Services updates, for customer service purposes, or to contact you regarding any content that you have posted to or downloaded from the Jiffeo Services.

Jiffeo may periodically send promotional materials or notifications to you related to the Jiffeo Services. If you want to stop receiving promotional materials, you can go to your account settings once you have logged in to the Jiffeo Services or follow the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of any email from us. If you have installed a mobile app and you wish to stop receiving push notifications, you can change the settings either on your mobile device or through the app.

In certain cases, we have a legal obligation to collect and process your personal information (such as our obligation to share data with tax authorities).

We may also ask for your consent to process your personal information for a specific purpose that we communicate to you. When you consent to our processing your personal information for a specified purpose, you may withdraw your consent at any time and we will stop processing of your data for that purpose.

Jiffeo will rely on legal grounds to process your personal information to the extent permitted by applicable law, which may include, without limitation: to respect contractual commitments, to take steps in anticipation of entering into contract, to fulfil legal obligations, your consent, and Jiffeo’s legitimate interests.

Article 4: How Jiffeo share personal Information

We may share personal information to our employees, contractors, affiliates, distributors, dealers, vendors and suppliers (“Service Providers”) who provide certain services to us or on our behalf, such as operating and supporting the Services, analysing data, or performing marketing or consulting services. These Service Providers will only have access to the personal information needed to perform these limited functions on our behalf.

Designated Countries: Pursuant to the Data Protection Laws, we process the personal information of users located in the Designated Countries.

We may also disclose user information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with any applicable local laws around the world, or respond to a court order, judicial or other government request, or warrant in the manner legally required.

We also reserves the right to share information that we believe, in good faith, is appropriate or necessary to protect us from potential liability or from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful uses; investigate and defend ourselves against third-party claims, or allegations; protect the security or integrity of the Jiffeo Services; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Jiffeo, our users, or others.

Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when personal information about you might be shared with third parties and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

Article 5: Data subject rights and your choices

You may decline to share certain information with Jiffeo, in which case Jiffeo may not be able to provide to you some of the features and functionality found on the Jiffeo services and applications. To protect your privacy and security, we may take steps to verify your identity before granting you access or making corrections to your information. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information at all times.

Residents of the European Economic Union can exercise certain data subject rights available to them under applicable data protection laws. We will comply with requests to exercise these rights in accordance with applicable law. Please note that in some circumstances, we may need to keep processing your information for certain legitimate interests or to comply with a legal obligation. If these rights apply to you, they may permit you to request that we:

  • Obtain access to or a copy of certain personal information we hold about you
  • Prevent the processing of your personal information for direct marketing purposes (including any direct marketing processing based on profiling)
  • Update personal information that is out of date or incorrect
  • Delete certain personal information we hold about you
  • Restrict the way that we process and disclose specific personal information about you
  • Transfer your personal information to a third-party provider of services
  • Revoke consent that you previously provided for the processing of your personal information

If applicable, you may make a complaint to the data protection supervisory authority in the country where you are based. Alternatively, you may seek a remedy through local courts if you believe your rights have been breached.

Article 6: Advertisers and Analytics Providers

We may use third-party Web analytics services in connection with the Jiffeo services and applications, such as those of Google Analytics, and its advertising features. These service providers use a variety of tracking technologies such as cookies to analyse how users use the site. The information collected (described above in “Automatically Collected Information”) will be collected directly by these service providers to evaluate your use of the site.

Jiffeo may allow advertisers, third-party advertising networks and third-party advertising serving companies to serve advertisements directly to you within the site, services and software. By serving these advertisements directly to you, these companies can set their own cookies on your computer and trigger their own Web beacons and other tracking technologies to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements, and to collect and track information such as demographic information, inferred interests, aggregated information, and activity to assist them in personalizing the advertising content delivered to you. Jiffeo does not provide information that is intended to identify you personally to these third-party ad servers or ad networks without your consent. However, if you respond to an advertisement that targets a certain audience (for example, males age 20 to 25 who have participated in certain promotions), the advertiser or ad-server may conclude that you fit the description of the audience that they were trying to reach.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the tracking technologies and activities of, other advertisers, third-party advertising networks, or third-party advertising servers. You should consult the respective privacy policies of these advertisers, third-party advertising networks, or third-party advertising servers.

Article 7: Business Transfers or Bankruptcy

In the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or other sale of all or a portion of our assets, any personal information owned or controlled by us may be one of the assets transferred to third parties. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice within our Services of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information

Other than to the extent ordered by a bankruptcy or other court, the use and disclosure of all transferred personal information will be subject to this Privacy Policy. However, any personal information you submit or that is collected after this type of transfer may be subject to a new privacy policy adopted by the successor entity.

Designated Countries: Pursuant to the Data Protection Laws, we process the personal information of users located in the Designated Countries based on legitimate interests described above.

Article 8: User specific rights

Right to withdraw consent. If we rely on consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. A withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of our processing or the processing of any third parties based on consent before your withdrawal.

Right of access and rectification. If you request a copy of your personal information that we hold, we will provide you with a copy without undue delay and free of charge, except where we are permitted by law to charge a fee. We may limit your access if such access would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of other individuals. You may also request to correct or update any of your personal information held by us, unless you can already do so directly via the Services.

Right to erasure (the “Right to be Forgotten”). You may request us to erase any of your personal information held by us that: is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed; was collected in relation to processing that you previously consented to, but later withdrew such consent; or was collected in relation to processing activities to which you object, and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for our processing.

Right to restriction. You have the right to restrict our processing your personal information where one of the following applies:

  • You contest the accuracy of your personal information that we processed. We will restrict the processing of your personal information, which may result in an interruption of some or all of the Services, during the period necessary for us to verify the accuracy of your personal information;

  • We will only process your restricted personal information with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest. We will inform you if or when the restriction is lifted.

  • Right to object to processing. You may object to our processing at any time and as permitted by applicable law if we process your personal information on the legal basis of consent, contract or legitimate interests. We can continue to process your personal information if it is necessary for the defense of legal claims, or for any other exceptions permitted by applicable law.

  • Notification to third-parties. If we share your personal information with third parties, we will notify them of any requests for rectification, erasure or restriction of your personal information, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Upon your request, we will identify such third parties.

Article 9: Amendments and Updates to this Privacy Policy

We may periodically make changes to this Policy as we update or expand our Services. Please check this Privacy Policy periodically for those changes. If you do not agree to the changes, you should discontinue your use of the Services prior to the time the modified Policy takes effect. If you continue using the Services after the modified Policy takes effect, you will be bound by the modified Policy.
